Hello and welcome to this short video on the Junior Baby Adapter. The Junior Baby Adapter is a solid steel, chrome-plated 1-⅛” inch Junior receiver welded to a ⅝” Baby receiver. This adapter allows you to mount a light fixture, or any piece of gear with a Junior mounting pin to a light stand or any Baby stud. A word of caution: traditionally the Junior pin is designed for much heavier fixtures, so please use caution and common sense before you mount a 100 lb light on the stand rated for 22 lb. I always recommend steel stands for this application. Let's mount this light fixture, which has a Junior pin onto our Baby roller, which, you guessed it, as a baby pin. First we'll throw some weight on our Baby Roller with this 15 lb shot bag. Next slide the Baby receiver side of the adapter onto our Baby pin and tighten the knob until secure. Now slide the Junior pin into our Junior receiver, tighten the knob and you are good to go. Now that’s a wrap – thanks for watching.
